Bob Rubendunst, has worked on "Everything serial" - from converting 5-bit, 2-level Baudot ticker tape data to ASCII, to real tty ports that exist on WANs. Bob has very detailed knowledge of how to get solutions to work on single platforms or on multiple platforms. Bob has extensive experience in the following environments: AIX, AMOS, Linux, Unix, and embedded systems.

While Bob's tagline suggests he only works on asynchronous serial data communications, Bob has also worked on synchronous protocols and USB.

With over thirty years' experience in providing software and consulting, Bob has helped many other hardware and software businesses add value and function to their products, primarily by adding or enhancing connectivity. He has developed solutions used in insurance and medical billing, retail stores, factory automation, animal tracking, SoC simulation, and many other unique applications.
